Sunrise One day, some hour

We dream for a Sunrise

Love will again arise when Sunrise

Against the doom
Like Sunrise
Of disbelief.

As long as single heart for Sunrise

Remains to grieve
The slaying alike
Of a Palestinian lad
And a Hebrew lass

There is hope of sunrise

One day, some hour
We dream
The age of murder will pass.
What right is our to kill
When giving birth
To a single blade of grass,
Leaf, bud or flower
Is beyond our power?
